Announcing Bob Cronk's
Retirement
Bob
Cronk, our Food Grade Operations Manager, will be
retiring on June 28th.
Bob has been in the trucking industry since 1974 in
some capacity or another.
He started out driving for Vince Trucking hauling
cross country. He bought his own truck a year later
and was an owner operator for 5 years. He became the driver
manager for Union Carbide. He became the dispatch
manager for Linde North America. He went on to become
the Distribution Warehouse Manager Diamond Lumber. He
then became the Director of Education for Western Truck
Schools. His career took him in to Distribution
Transportation Manager for NCN Airgas for eleven years.
He then became the Terminal Manager for Carry Transportation
in Stockton. For three years.
We were fortunate to hire Bob in 2006 and for
thirteen years he was instrumental in growing our food grade
division to the size it is today. Bob never said no to
anything (unless it was computer related)! We could
always count on him to get the job done no matter what the
challenges were. He was a tremendous employee and a
friend to us all.
We will miss him around here but we are excited for
his retirement and wish him the best of luck.
Sincerely,
The “Alegre” Team
